Our Vision

Living Water exists to glorify God by sharing His love with others and building each other up in faith.

What We Believe

As a church body, we share core values of our faith. We ascribe to the beliefs and doctrine of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Christ-Likeness

We depend on the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and prayer to make us like Jesus Christ.

Truth

We stand together in the truth of God’s inerrant Word, celebrating the faith once for all delivered to the saints.

Unity

We work together in love for the sake of the Gospel.

Relationships

We consider others more important than ourselves.

Trust

We tell one another the truth in love and do what we say we will do.

Local Church

We believe the local church is given the authority, power, and responsibility to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every person in the world.

Kingdom

We join other Christ-followers for the Gospel, the Kingdom of Christ, and the glory of God.

Our Mission

1. Praying – We understand that the mission, the goals, and the values at Living Water Church are humanly impossible. We do not inherently possess the wherewithal to make disciples or aid them in knowing, loving and serving Christ. These are works of God and we will always rely on Him as we ardently ask Him to accomplish these biblical objectives among us.

2. Growing – We want to grow stronger in Cloverdale. We realize numeric growth is not the only goal of the church but the scripture makes it clear that God does grow His church and we want Him to add to His kingdom in our city (Acts 2:47). We also pray that there is a growing affection for Christ and a growing hunger to understand the Bible among the members of Living Water Church.

3. Serving – We want to be a church that breaks the 80/20 rule.  To effectively and efficiently accomplish all that God has called us to do, we cannot maintain the all-too-common ‘20% of the people do 80% of the work.’ At Living Water we must always encourage that “each part does its work.” (Ephesians 4:16b)

4. Partnering – We want to partner with other gospel-centered churches and organizations to better spread the gospel and establish churches in places where Christ is not yet known. We are currently partnering with the Southern Baptist Convention, Southern Baptist Convention of California, and Redwood Empire Baptist Association.
